2008 Victorian Primary Schools State Tee Ball Champions
CONGRATULATIONS to our Boys Tee Ball team who created a piece of history by winning the VPSSA State Tee Ball Championships for the third successive year.
This is an amazing effort and one that super coach, former student, Brendan Daws should be terribly proud of, as he was once again the mastermind behind the win.
Our boys produced flawless skills in winning the final, 23 – 1, in such emphatic fashion. From the sidelines they looked to be the best drilled team out there, a familiar trademark of the dedicated and hard working efforts of the coach. Brendan gives up a lot of his own time in preparing the boys for the competition and once again he showed he has no peer.
Many thanks to all the parents who came along to support the team and in particular to Ms. Hayes and Mackenzie who shared the scoring duties and to student teacher Mr.T for helping out with the warm ups.

Weet-Bix TRY-athlon 2008 Series (Melbourne)
It was a cold and threatening morning, but this didn't deter the kids from Syndal in participating in the Weet-Bix TRY-athlon. With the swim being cancelled due to choppy conditions, the cycle and run legs still went ahead. The faces of everyone on completion easily told that it was a fantastic experience, even against the head wind.
Thank you to Mr Kenez for coming along to support, and to Mark (parent) for his training sessions.
From 7 partipants last year, 20+ this year, let's see if we can get 40+ students participating next year!!!
