Teachers use evidenced based teaching practices when developing their programs. Our Strategic Plan drives improvement and development within the Framework for Improving Student Outcomes. Our staff work collaboratively in focused teams to analyse and track student achievement data which informs effective planning for the diverse individual learning needs of the students in each class, they use whole school approaches to learning.The teachers acknowledge the importance of evidence based informed High Impact Teaching Strategies (HITS) such as setting goals, explicit teaching, worked examples, differentiation and personal learning. The purposeful use of a range of technologies supports student engagement and 21st century learning requirements.
