  • An Instagram page (Future_Stars_At_Syndal_South) to communicate information about transition sessions and give parents and children a glimpse into the classroom.
  • A parent evening in May held to discuss the Foundation transition process and expectations for the following year.
  • All incoming Foundation students receive a picture story about what to expect on their first day of school and suggested holiday activities to help prepare them for their new school life.
  • All incoming families will receive a welcome pack with an information booklet as well as an individual interview and testing time before students start the year.
  • Tears and Cheers - a morning tea for parents will be provided on the first day of school.
  • A parent information evening held early in Term 1 to discuss the school life and expectations for a Foundation student as well as question time to answer any new queries.
