At Syndal South we recognise the transition from Kindergarten to school can be both exciting and daunting for parents and students alike. And as happy and confident children is an important priority for us at Syndal South, we have a variety of information and transition sessions aimed at assisting a smooth transition to school.

Prospective Parents Information Night

All prospective families are welcome to join our Foundation Teachers and School Leadership Team on Tuesday 26th May for a school tour and information session.

School Tour - 5.15pm

Information Session - 6.00-7.00pm

Our information session will cover:

• 2027 Online Enrolment Process
• SSPS Curriculum overview, including how we achieve outstanding results in Literacy and Numeracy
• SSPS Wellbeing overview, including how we ensure every child belongs at SSPS
• School transition and readiness.

2026 Foundation Orientation and Transition Sessions 

These sessions are for all children enrolled in Foundation for 2027.  These sessions will allow your child to participate in a number of aspects of primary school life at Syndal South Primary School, as well as giving parents an introduction into our community.

• Friday 4th September  -  2.15-3.15pm  (Storytime)
• Wednesday 25th November  -  9.30-10.30am with a Parent Information session on Literacy at SSPS
• Wednesday 2nd December  -  9.30-10.30am with a Parent Information session on Numeracy at SSPS
• Tuesday 8th December  -  9.30-12.00pm  with a family BBQ from 11.30-12.00pm
